ASTM A240 Grade 316(S31600) Stainless Steel General Properties

Alloy 316/ 316L provides excellent elevated temperature tensile, creep and stress-rupture strengths, as well as outstanding formability and weld ability. Grade 316 is the standard molybdenum-bearing grade, second in importance to 304 amongst the austenitic stainless steels.
